About the Project

Project FSTP-OI-22

The Cyber Festung Project of the University of Slavonski Brod aims to raise cybersecurity awareness among citizens and organizations. Through research, analysis, education, simulations, and other activities, the project will contribute to strengthening resilience against cyber attacks. The target groups are employees, university students, high school students, and employers. Expected outcomes include improved data protection, increased risk awareness, and stronger cooperation among various stakeholders in the field of cybersecurity.

Cybersecurity is at the heart of the European Union’s digital transformation. The Digital Europe programme will strengthen the Union’s capabilities in protecting its citizens and organizations, among other things, to improve the security of digital products and services. The European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC) and the Network of National Coordination Centres are responsible for implementing the relevant measures of this program.

The co-financing rate for this project is 100% of the total eligible project costs specified in the project application. 50% of the total eligible costs are covered by the European Union, and 50% by Erste Bank.
